Rescheduled Freshman Orientation/ Open House

Rescheduled date August 4th- Freshman Orientation and Open House

We would like to invite the class of 2029 and their families to visit Rock Island High School before classes begin for the 2025-2026 school year. Families are welcome to come early and grab a bite to eat on the RIHS Island, then attend an informational session from 5 to 5:30 where they will receive a paper copy of their student's 2025-2026 school schedule and a list of key places to explore on a self-guided tour through the building. NOTE: All Freshman Families are required to complete the PROOF OF RESIDENCY documentation. If parents/guardians still need to complete this last step for registration, they can also bring the needed items to take care of that at one of the information tables that will be set up outside of the school library.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our generous sponsors—the Rock Island Milan Education Foundation PRIME Grant and the Rock Island Public Library—for making this event possible.
And a big shoutout to our amazing team of librarians, whose hard work and dedication brought this unforgettable experience to life for our scholars!
